Shantikarma

In Hindu tradition, Shantikarma is a sacred ritual performed to restore harmony, remove negative influences, and invite divine blessings into one’s life. It is broadly categorized into Auspicious Shanti and Inauspicious Shanti, each serving a distinct spiritual purpose.

Auspicious Shanti is performed to attract prosperity, good fortune, and positive energy by eliminating imperfections or flaws related to one’s home, family, or personal life. Common rituals under this include Udak Shanti, Vastu Shanti, and Vayovasthabhidh Shanti, which invoke divine grace for well-being and success.

Inauspicious Shanti, on the other hand, is performed to pacify negative planetary effects, overcome doshas (flaws) in one’s horoscope, and neutralize adverse energies caused by unfavorable events or celestial positions. Rituals such as Janan Shanti, Tripad Nakshatra Shanti, Panchak Nakshatra Shanti, and Nidhan Shanti help restore balance, peace, and protection for individuals and families.
